DROWN THEN.


I used to work at a ██████ store and one fine summer's day, whilst I was restocking my shelves, a woman came up to me and asked if we had glasses for swimming. Of course she meant goggles, so I said those would be on aisle 5 but I don't know if we had anymore left because it's summer. She goes to aisle 5, then comes back to me and says there's only kid size and she needs adult size. I start my "out of stock" spiel and she puts her hand up, in my face, and walks off.

Five minutes later, I'm still restocking and she stops at the end of the aisle and yells, "I FOUND THEM and if you don't want to help people here then you should QUIT!" I glance down at her hand and she's holding safety goggles. The ones with the fucking vents on the side so they don't fog up. At this point I'm stunlocked and all I could say was, "Those aren't for swimming!" She turns and goes to checkout with her adult glasses for swimming, clearly fed up with what a lazy, slack-jawed idiot I am.

And that is one of many reasons why the ██████ store is the worst job I ever had thank you.
