YOU'RE BLOCKED.


Sometime around 2018-ish, I was looking on Xbox PC for free games that gave gamerscore. I found Microsoft Bingo. I download the game, start her up, and turns out it's online multiplayer. There's even an ingame chat. I'm reading chat while I'm playing and what a surprise, it's a bunch of older people playing. Some people are just posting emojis but a few of them are talking like they know each other by usernames. It was mostly just small talk and praising each other for bingos. I decided to be a little silly and start typing in chat. For my very first message, I throw out an "I love you."

Immediately they turn on me. "I DON'T KNOW YOU!" I'm stunned as I do not get this type of response in games like GMod or TF2. My next response was "you don't love me? :(" They will not budge. Not even my sad face will sway their opinion of me. "WHO ARE YOU?" "I ONLY LOVE MY FAMILY!" I'm genuinely harrassing them by giving my unsolicited love. I try once more to placate them, "you are my friend!" This action had unforseen consequences. "YOU ARE NOT MY FRIEND!" "YOU ARE BLOCKED!!!!"

I've been blocked on Microsoft Bingo. The old people hate me. I'm at the lowest point in my life. Unphased by the harrassment I forced upon them, they continue on with their regular chatter. I didn't even get a bingo.
